A French colony in India where I have enormous memories…

Being a kid who was basically raised by her mother as my father used to sail most of the time my grandparents played an important part in my childhood.I remember  every summer vacation my brother and I used to prepare ourselves to go to our parents house.Summers were the best time of my entire year that time.

My grandparents used to live in a old french colony in India named Chandannagar, it is the best place I have ever been in(and I  have been to few countries and have explored most the places of India whether it be a sea side or a mountain). The entire area is still maintained like the French colonials did. There is a river stand which is my favorite place in the entire town. Every afternoon I used to go to this stand and play with my brother and sit over there for hours. It was the best experience of all. This serine, calm and enchanting town will always be a big part in my life.

We tend to forget to enjoy the simplest things in life like seeing children play, or just sit in front of the river or the sea for hours and just enjoy the nature the ultimate entertainment that god has given us and this is something that we  have forgotten.Maximum joy in our lives comes when we learn to enjoy every bit of our life to the fullest. This town has taught me this at a very young age and I am very grateful that my parents have let me explore the nature the way it should be. Comes from an 18 year old.

WHEN WE THINK THAT THE ENTIRE WORLD HAS CLOSED ALL THE DOORS FOR YOU, THE NATURE KNOCKS AT YOUR SHOULDERS AND TELLS YOU WHAT’S WRONG DON’T LOSE HOPE I AM THERE BY YOUR SIDE.
